Our boy was chosen to help save a life and he is the first Miniature Schnauzer in our area to do so.  We feel good in our hearts to know that through his training he is now assisting his new companion with Parkinson's disease.  They must take medication every two hours and he will alert to make sure this is never missed.  What a great boy!

In April 2012 this female puppy from Mia & Tex was chosen for training with Dogs Assisting Diabetics.  This sweet girl was born to save a life and completed her training in December of 2012.  As a loving companion she now alerts her owner with any changes in blood sugar levels.
