The Trooper
He was born November 2nd 2010. We named him Trooper not knowing of the meaning that name would soon take. Trooper was 2 weeks old when the mother of an 8 year old girl reserved him. Her daughter had wanted a puppy so bad that she wrote a very long letter telling her Mom all of the reasons she was ready and able to have one. For months, any money she earned or received she began buying puppy toys, treats and even a bed.
Trooper was to keep his name. We kept him with us happily until late Christmas Eve for her little girl. A gift that brought with him wagging tail love to soothe a heart broken. She had lost her daddy while serving as a soldier for our country. Her mother...she is taking classes to work with the Highway Patrol Troopers.
Some things forever touch your heart and it started with a puppy we named Trooper.
